Ämnesövergripande arbete : Hur ämnesövergripande arbete mellan slöjd och teknik med hjälp av Visible Thinking kan underlätta för eleverna att uppnå sina studiemål

Sammanfattning Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka och beskriva ett ämnesövergripande arbete mellan slöjd och teknik med Visible Thinking som verktyg för att eleverna skall nå sina ämnesmål och ett fördjupat lärande. Studien har genomförts på Lemshaga Akademi en f-9 skola på Värmdö, i en aktionsstudie där enkät, intervjuer och observationer har använts. Med utgångspunkt i LPO 94, Visible Thinkings arbetsmetoder , olika forskares syn på ämnesövergripande arbete i skolan, intervjuer med fem lärare som alla arbetar med ämnesövergripande arbete, en enkät undersökning bland 49 elever, observationer i projektarbete kring energi och intervju med rektorer studerar jag en modell för den ämnesövergripande arbetsformen. I resultatet av undersökningen kring arbetet bland lärare och elever framkommer att man använder sig av Visible Thinking som ett verktyg för lärandet. Elever och lärare ser ämnesövergripande arbete som en bra form för lärande.

Lean Thinking ? Ett sätt för serviceorganisationer att öka sitt värdeskapande?

Syftet är att genom ett Service Management-perspektiv studera huruvida implementeringar av Lean Thinking i serviceorganisationer skapar möjligheter för ökat värdeskapande för såväl kund som organisation. Huvudfrågeställningen ser ut som följande: Hur påverkas värdeskapandet i serviceorganisationer vid en implementering av Lean Thinking? Vi har betraktat två skilda serviceorganisationer som implementerat Lean Thinking - Fritidsresor och Universitetssjukhuset i Lund - genom en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Semi-strukturerade intervjuer har genomförts med intervjupersoner från respektive studieobjekt. Genom en litteratusstudie av Service Management- och Lean Thinking-teorier har såväl likheter som skillnader i perspektivens syn på värde och värdeskapande illustrerats.

Computational thinking was brought to the forefront in 2006 by Jeannette Wing. Computational thinking is a problem solving method that uses computer science techniques.The thesis is analyzing computational thinking and how it could be applied to graph theory. Characteristics and main fields from computational thinking is being analysed. This analysis is applied to graph theory to see the potential in developing a proposal for how an exercise can look for an introductory course in discrete data types. Only basic knowledge of graphs is required to perform the exercise.

Validitet av observationsbaserade mätningar av armarbetsställningar hos pappersbruksarbetare

Abstract    Objective: The aim of the present study was to investigate if inclinometer estimates of arm posture during paper mill work differed between periods of different arm visibility. The aim was also to identify strategies for and difficulties in assessing body-visibility on video. Methods: The study consisted of two parts, where part 1 aimed to investigate the validity of observation-based assessment of arm posture during paper mill work. Study 2 was a survey among people with experience in assessing the posture of paper mill workers from video. Results: The total time for the right upper arm visibility indicates that it was on average visible in 54%, partly visible 15 %  and not visible 31%.

AbstractThe debate on grammar has been on the agenda for thousands of years. Several different arguments and theories have been used in order to explain the importance of grammar in school. Some newer arguments have been added, while others have stayed, either in their original version, or in a modernised one.This essay aims to clarify the role grammar play in school. In order to do that we have looked into its history, the curriculum, modern research and interviews made with active teachers.The results of the literary studies, the studies of the curriculum and the field studies show that the very presence of grammar in school is disputed. Invasions- och insatsförsvaret : En professionsteoretisk jämförelse

This essay is on the subject of the changes that the Swedish military is undergoing. This essay will take the old ways of alignment thinking, were the military was to protect the nation against an invasion and compare it to the newer way of alignment thinking, where the military is to go abroad and do peacekeeping operations as there main objective. Gymnasiereformer - en jämförelse av politiska argument : En jämförelse mellan gymnasiereformerna 1963 och 2009

The purpose of this paper is to examine witch factors lays behind political decisions when reforming upper secondary school. Three major factors are used: political, economical and structural. These factors become visible by comparing the school reforms 1965 and the coming one in 2009. An analytical scheme is used to find the factors in the primary information. The study is based both political inquiries and on debate articles from newspapers and political papers.The results show that two factors are more visible than the third, and that is the ideological and structural.

My essay is concerned with intercultural leadership and practical knowledge. The essay is about ethical dilemmas and the diversity of issues we face constantly at the preschool. In my story I examine the different views of knowledge and the opportunities to lead people in an intercultural way, and how they relate to each other. I start by looking at the ethical ideas that form the basis for our actions and our view of knowledge. Att få rätt stöd vid rätt tidpunkt : En observationsstudie av två barn med AD/HD-diagnos

The purpose of the study is to examine different situations and behaviors for students diagnosed with AD / HD and see if there are times where their diagnosis will be extra visible. This will ultimately see how and where these children may need support in their daily lives, and about the support they receive is relevant to their needs. Questions I intend to examine: Are there situations for students throughout the school day in which ADHD diagnosis becomes extra visible? If so, what situations? How is the diagnosis in these situations?It is estimated that about 3-6 percent of school children have AD/HD. It causes difficulties with concentration as well as impulse and activity control.

Kritikens kris: En diskursanalys av begreppet kritiskt tänkande inom förskollärarutbildningen

The following study is a discourse analysis of the concept of critical thinking within pre-school teacher education. It considers the following questions: how does the concept of critical thinking appear in policy documents, central to the pre-school teacher education, and which possible conceptions of critical thinking are conveyed by students and teachers active within the education. Additionally, the study seeks to discuss, as well as suggest a possible relation, between the findings of those two questions. In reviewing the material (consisting of five semi-structured interviews with students and teachers, and of a selection of policy documents central to the education), I argue the existence of a sort of project within the education, which presents critical thinking as a higher value. At the same time, I argue that the concept is not defined or concretized. This project, however, as I suggest while drawing upon Foucault?s ideas of discourse and government, involves a rather high degree of control.

Kartläggning av en arbetsprocess i förändring : Hur distribution över tid, individer och artefakter kan användas för analys vid införandet av Lean Thinking i verksamheten

Lantmäteriets stödenhet Utveckling och IT (UIT) ska inför ett mer agilt arbetssätt. Den agila arbetsmetoden ifråga är Lean Thinking, den västerländska adaptionen av Toyota Production System. För att underlätta vid en övergång till det nya arbetssättet, kartläggs de inledande faserna i projektarbetet, då dessa saknar specifika anvisningar i den nuvarande projektstyrningsmodellen, Praktisk projektstyrning (PPS). Utifrån kartläggningen utfördes så en tvåstegsanalys, den första utifrån ett distribuerat kognitivt perspektiv och sedan utifrån de fem huvudprinciper från Lean Thinking. Resultatet från analysen resulterade sedan i ett antal förändringspunkter som UIT kan använda sig av vid bytet av arbetssätt.

The network with its virtual business structure challenge the established vertical business structure. Part of the network theory that has developed focuses on relationships that forms B2Bnetworks. One way to create a B2B-network is for independent businesses to form a organization promoting co-operation. For co-operation to be successful it requires well thought-out actions, but a lack of how these actions are implemented have been noticed. This study explores how encouragement of co-operation can be done practically.
